Our Alumni Program

At KLEAN, we place great emphasis on aftercare planning and alumni involvement. Treatment at KLEAN exposes clients to community and fellowship for lifelong connections. The KLEAN Alumni Program is designed to sustain relationships with individuals post-discharge. KLEAN understands the value of preserving relationships and strong support systems. Our goal is to provide several alternatives for individuals to remain connected to the KLEAN community and their treatment experience. The Alumni Network at KLEAN is always evolving and wants you to participate in the experience!

Here are some of the great benefits that come with being a KLEAN Alumni:

Lifetime Alumni Support Group

Every Saturday afternoon KLEAN offers a support group free-of-charge for all Alumni. This is an unlimited benefit that is available to all Alumni. We know that sometimes times get tough and you need a bit of support. With KLEAN’s Alumni support group, now you know that support is always there! Connect with the KLEAN Community, work through issues and get the support and encouragement you need in order to stay sober, safe and happy.

Free Monthly Alumni Events

At KLEAN, we take our fun seriously!  Every month KLEAN treats all alumni to dinner and an activity in a new fun place each time. We can’t express enough how much we appreciate our alumni and want to support you in your lives and sobriety.  The monthly alumni events are a way for us to say thank you and to stay in touch with the people that KLEAN serves.  Every event is different so it’s a new adventure every time.

West Hollywood Weekly Alumni Meeting & Dinner

KLEAN’s evolving alumni program is excited to invite you to our “KLEAN & SOBER” dinner and meeting every Sunday night… come for the food, stay for the fellowship and recovery! All KLEAN alumni, friends and family are welcome to attend. In an effort to foster the connection and camaraderie between our alumni we started this event. Those who have participated in the KLEAN program share a common bond, set of experiences, and a message of hope pertaining to life after treatment. This gathering acts as a great means of keeping in touch with old friends and even reaching out to new ones.

The meeting begins promptly at 5:00 pm.

(Parking is available for free in the lot behind Champagne French Bakery)

Long Beach/Astoria Alumni Program

At KLEAN we know it is important to create long lasting relationships with other people in the sober community. We also know that it isn’t easy to find many events to attend where people aren’t using, we want to provide a safe fun environment for people in recovery. At KLEAN Long Beach and KLEAN Astoria all clients that complete their program and graduate are invited to bi-weekly Alumni bowling nights! KLEAN covers the cost of dinner and bowling, the fun is also free! Many Alumni attend the bi-weekly bowling nights. Alumni can rely on this being a constant.

We also offer a special monthly Alumni event that can really be anything, a hike, a bonfire, a movie, roller skating, sushi night, swimming, and much more.

Please contact Johanna for more information or to get involved with our Long Beach/Astoria alumni program at: jgustafson@kleancenter.com

Client Meeting Companionship:

Being involved after you recover is one of the best ways to maintain your sobriety and serving others is an important part of recovery. At KLEAN, many alumni want to do what they can to help with the recovery process of other clients. If you are interested in driving current clients to meetings, please contact us to inquire if you meet requirements and to complete the necessary paperwork*

*This only has to be completed once & will be kept on file

Outpatient Programs:

Residential treatment is the first step in the process of recovery, and is a spiritual and emotional journey that can last a lifetime. For many, some sort of support is necessary even after you leave treatment. Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) and outpatient programs are designed to allow you the freedom to reintegrate back into a normal life. You have the support of your therapist and community to help you stay sober despite the stress of the day-to-day world.

We offer day and evening programs to fit all schedules, combining group therapy and individual counseling sessions.
