Greg was born in Southern California, one of seven children. His inspiration for going into medicine was my family physician, Dr. John MaGrann. His passion for his patients was inspiring. Greg did his pre-med training at Azuza Pacific University in Southern California and then went to the University of Vermont College of Medicine where he earned his medical degree. Three years of family medicine residency was spent at St. Mary’s hospital in Evansville Indiana. He specifically looked at the northwest for starting a practice in family medicine and moved to Spokane Washington in 1999. He has spent the last 18 years in a busy private practice in family medicine. He has tried to carry the empathy and compassion with all his patients that Doctor MaGrann taught him. Addiction is integral to family medicine. It was over these years in family practice that his passion for the specialty of addiction medicine has developed. He has been working at KLEAN Long Beach since September, and as a result of the team effort from the staff, he has seen families reunited, clients recover and see hope once again in their eyes.
Greg is board-certified in family medicine, a member of the American Academy of family physicians and a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
He is married to his lovely wife, Kirsty, and they have six children of their own.
