Rebecca Macias graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and holds a Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from San Francisco State University. She is currently registered as a Professional Clinical Counselor Intern working towards hours for licensure. Rebecca’s previous experience includes substance abuse counseling at a residential treatment in San Francisco and most recently, Mental Health Specialist for a Homeless Service Center in Los Angeles. She is passionate about serving stigmatized populations and advocating for individuals’ quality of life. Rebecca has experience working with dual-diagnosis, anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma, and identity. She primarily utilizes a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy framework, however believes every individuals’ treatment is unique and should be individualized. Rebecca believes that everyone deserves a meaningful and fulfilling life and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve the life they want.
